Ranmoor

The suburb of Ranmoor is located next to Fulwood and is considered to be one of the wealthier parts of the City with property prices being some of the highest in the City. The beautiful St John's Church, built in 1879, dominates the local landscape, the tower and spire visible from afar.

The area benefits from many nearby good schools - Nether Green Junior and Infants, King Edwards ,Notre Dame, St Marie's and Tapton are all within walking distance.

For entertainment, the ever popular Ranmoor Inn and Bulls Head pubs and West 10 Wine bar are very popular with the locals as are the local restaurants, shops and cafes on Fulwood Road. If you are looking for something a little livelier - then Ecclesall Road and the City Centre are only a short cab ride away.

One of major attractions of living in this location is the proximity to the wonderful nearby Endcliffe and Bingham Parks. These are well suited to little ones and older ones alike - if it takes your fancy you can walk through all the interlinked parks, starting at Endcliffe right out of the City to the Peak District. If you've made it this far you can then stop off at the Norfolk Arms on Ringinglow Road for refreshment before the walk (or cab!) back home.
